St. Lunaire

Saint Lunaire is another of those way too cute seaside villages. It has an 11th century church, of which you won't find a picture here, but take my word for it that it's really cool. It has two rockin' beaches as well. But all I have is a mediocre picture of the nearby field it was held in.

This brocante was small, and populated mostly by professional sellers. Prices were in keeping with the real estate, i.e. high.

The vintage linen lady's tea towel pile. Looking at this picture, I just realized that there are one or two peeking out from the pile that I didn't initially see but would have loved to have! Drat.

The vintage jewelry lady's stand.

The chair guy's stand.

Hi, I love your blog (I'm a thrift / flea market junkie too) and wanted to see if you had any suggestions on where to stay in Paris? I'm going to Zurich for 5 weeks with my husband and baby girl (4 months old) and we're going to be in Paris for part of that time, about 4-5 days. Maybe we could meet and go thrifting or flea hunting together! Just let me know.

Hi,

Great blog. I am leaving the states to visit France on the 24th of this month. I need to be in Paris for a week (April 1-8) but the rest of the time I will be bumming around looking for great stuff to bring back home and make art with. I would love to pick your brain about your stay and some interesting things I should see and do while in France. My idea is to travel to Normandy-Brittany- make a loop back to Paris.

I am a thrift-flea market junkie. I only buy tiny things but I love to find treasures.

If you have the time I would love to share a few emails.

Thanks,
Gina Gabriell

Hi C.!

I love your blog! I stumbled across it whilst Googling for places for find cheap vintage French finds. Any tips for Paris or the Senlis area?? Is the giant one in Ouen really as good as it sounds, or is it expensive? I mainly just want to treasure hunt for some inexpensive linens, particularly vintage feedsacks.

I will be visiting for a short trip Thursday-Sunday next month, and would love to find some "brocantes"!

Merci beaucoup!

:)

But in India, menstruation is about much more than biology. It's about outdated beliefs, social pressures -- and costs.
